Grow-Ya
Grow-Ya Yoga and well-being
As a respected Yoga, Wellness, free-dance, and Fitness Instructor based in the Eastern Cape, my main goal is to lead others down the path of discovery that yoga provides. Whether you want to move your body, reach emotional growth, or be more present, I know you’ll benefit from my Grow-Ya practice.
Since 1994 I’ve regularly practiced yoga, and have done my Yoga teacher training through some of the most well respected Yogi's in New Delhi, India. I am currently the only Yoga Alliance certified Yoga teacher in the Eastern Cape, so you are guaranteed that you will receive THE best Yoga training and wellness guidance.
Since 2002 I've been mentoring and life coaching children, youth, and young adults, to reach their full potential mentally and physically. I offer this service as an add in service with my Yoga classes, if needed.
Now I am here, in this moment, to share all that I’ve learned in this journey of life, with you.
Let's share life in movement and in joy.

Classes and Activities
Designed for You
Private Session
The Private Session at home allow you to dive deeper into your own Yoga practice. The focus is on alignment and breath, and a special emphasis on proper technique helps you reconnect and rejuvenate your body. This is a popular one, so go ahead and book today.
You can include a friend or family member in the class, for a minimal extra cost.

Restorative Yoga Class
My Restorative Class is a much-needed break from the stress and speed of everyday life. Grab a mat and relax into a soothing sequence that will leave you feeling centered and renewed.We focus on the areas you need to work on to gain full mobility and gain your body strength back. perfect for those who have physical limitations, or need to restore muscle strength.

Group Session
By bringing Yoga directly to you, Grow-Ya has created this Group Session to be uniquely tailored to your needs and schedule. My Group Session integrates Yoga poses and breath-work as part of my holistic technique. Classes can include free dancing, meditation of any other one of the practices we provide.

Corporate Yoga

We offer:

Yin Yoga
Want to be part of the new Yoga sensation? Yin Yoga, where poses on the mat are slow, and held for 5 to 10 minutes per pose. Contact us for class info

Kids Yoga + Mindfulness
Do your Children need to learn how to relax and learn how to calm down? Do you want them to switch off the TV and become more active? Get them to join our Yoga and mindfulness classes consisting of poses, games, stories, fun, and activities.

Family Yoga + Mindfulness
Our Family Yoga classes are aimed at bringing a fun Yoga experience to the whole family. This can include Free Dancing, Yoga, Stories, Games, Crafts and Art, as well as family retreats in Nature. Or, it can just be a family Yoga class, the choice is yours.

Free-Dance classes
Our Free-Dance classes can be included as a warm-up class in any of our Yoga classes, or an exercise class on it's own. It is based on the NIA dancing technique, and work all your core areas. This is full freedom of expression, in beat with the pulsing music. It's a full body workout, but easier on the body than Yoga, making it the perfect activity for those who are older, or those who just want to do a light workout.

Mentoring sessions
Our mentoring sessions help you reach your full potential. Discuss and find solutions. Add Yoga, Meditation, Free-Dancing, or an outdoor adventure to your mentoring session for the ultimate life lesson session. Help us reach your full potential, and learn to stay calm in stressful situations.

Beach Yoga
My beach sessions integrate Yoga poses (asanas) and breath-work as part of my holistic technique, and may include free-dancing, beach walks, picnics or any other fun activity at the beach. Usually we meet with the client to discuss the needs for such an outing, and then plan a morning event to suit the group's needs.
